2. Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients:

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup mirin

1/4 cup brown sugar

3 cloves garlic, minced

Whisk soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper together in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a large resealable bag. Add chicken and green onions to the bag, seal it, and massage the contents so the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.
